Bahraini Blogger Blocked!
One of Bahrain's most popular blogs, Mahmood's Den, has been blocked by the Bahraini Government. So much for freedom of speech under a democratically-elected Government.
UPDATE 2nd November: following a meeting between Mahmood and MinInf, and his agreement to pull 4 articles about the Bandergate scandal, the block has been lifted.

The upper house of parliament is not elected, the press is only semi-free and political parties are banned.
Democracy eh?
That's perfectly nice Democracy. Democracy a la Middle East, medium rare.
Sod them. Concentrate on your Basil and Onions. Some day soon you will be home and then all of this will be a BAD dream.
So sad. I've stuck the banner on my blog and UAE comm.
It's a really cool looking banner, I must say!
So what's the deal here? Block everything we do not like rather than debating and solving what ever problems are there. I am pretty much on the list once my story is finished.
