Basil Babies Update

The babies have been busy growing today, and look how they all lean over towards the sunlight. Tomorrow I'll turn the trough round and see what happens - I might end up with zig-zag stalks.

I've had a basil bush in my garden for the past 2 years. It's one tough cooky! It has survived 2 summers outside, being transplanted about 2 times, been pruned right back. This year I thought I've done it. It looked like it had done it's last so I cut it right back and just the other day notices little leaves coming through. I'm sure your basil seedlings will do really well!

Elle: from what you say, it sounds as if MamaDuck started Keefie off with an easy one to get him hooked and motivated.

Now if I can get the same on my kids!
Yes i could do with a graduation right about now!!!
Good job Keefie.
I wud love to grow some fresh mint and even basil. I hear they are very hardy bushes.
But I have no sunshine in my flat except for dining/living room. No balcony either.
BOOHOOHOO! When can I have my sprig Keefie?

Just imagine Keefie out on that Ras Al Khaimah road selling fresh Basil from his pickup. LOL!
