Joé Qué Caló

When we arrived at school for the second day my shirt was absolutely soaked. BetterArf heroically went and bought me a new t-shirt, bearing the legend 'Joé Qué Caló', which apparently meant 'oh, isn't it hot'. Maria-José saw it, pointed it out to the rest of the class, but did not explain what it meant. Llorenç saw it, and at the end of the class, when the other students had left, explained to BetterArf and I that it means 'fuck, it's hot!'. Jajaja.

Man - a veritable drought and then a deluge of Keefieboy posts!

Sounds like everything is going swimmingly!

Love the t-shirt! :-)

I have a question: Does this mean you've left The Sandlands forever? Are you still in transition or are you now the prototypical Brits-who-effed-off-to-Southern-Spain-to-live-in-perpetual-sunshine?

Duffy: no, we haven´t left forever - that happens next summer. I hope we´re not the typical Brits in Spain - we are at least learning the language and we don´t plan to live a ´British´ lifestyle but with sunshine!
